COASTAL BOATS
Our newly designed coastal boats have been optimised to perform well in all aspects of coastal racing. Their unique design provides buoyancy and lift, shedding water off quickly and keeping the cockpit dry. The sharpness of the boat reduces form drag, while the ample width at the mid-section provides vital stability. As a platform for beach sprinting, the rocker keel and removable skeg make it very quick to round the buoy, while the sloped bow below the water line is ideal for beach landing. Our boats have been customised for beach sprints with a curve in the plumb bow to prevent digging and the keel line designed to help steering in high wind and wave conditions.
ADAPTIVE BOATS
Our adaptive shells are every bit as WinTech as their sister racing boats. Both the Explorer 1x and 2x are Klaus Filter designed hulls and employ the same construction advancements. Each component was explicitly developed through research and testing with members of the adaptive rowing community. WinTech adaptive boats are a staple amongst the New Zealand and worldwide para-rowing community.

The WinTech Cobra SE ‘Special Edition’ is our next generation carbon fibre racing boat designed for elite competition. The WinTech Cobra SE is for athletes who really want to stand out. It’s designed for those who are looking for the stiffest and fastest racing boat money can buy with no compromises. Without question, it’s for those who simply want the best. This all high-modulus uni-directional carbon honeycomb core racing shell, when paired with our state-of-the-art carbon bow wing riggers, offers among the highest stiffness and performance on the market. The Cobra SE has been designed by WinTech Racing’s renowned Chief Designer, Klaus Filter, who is one of the sport’s most decorated and accomplished racing shell designers.

Designed by WinTech Racing’s highly decorated Chief Designer Klaus Filter, the WinTech Cobra is going to help take you over the finish line ahead of the competition.

The WinTech International is designed with the best price-value relationship in mind for competitive and elite calibre athletes. This dual unidirectional prepreg carbon-laminated full DuPont honeycomb cored racing shell is a stiff yet durable high performance option. It offers the same (or better) material and construction methodology choices as other elite level boat builders but at a more affordable price whilst sharing the same hull shape as our elite Cobra models. The International is available as standard with aluminium bow or stern mounted riggers but these can be upgraded to stiffer carbon riggers.
WINTECH COMPETITOR RANGE / RACING BOATS

The Competitor range is designed to be a long lasting club workhorse, strong enough to be a development boat with the same shape as the upper models for competitive racing. This gel coated fibreglass and carbon single-skin training shell is extremely durable. The bulletproof quality and forgiving single-skin hull offers excellent impact resistance under the waterline for a great price. The Competitor comes as standard with aluminium bow or stern wing riggers.
KING SE / RACING BOATS
Available in 4+, 4x+, 8+ and 8x+
The King SE ‘Special Edition’ boat is crafted for high performance and elite racing in New Zealand. This model is an evolution of the record breaking King hull designed by ex-Harvard University boatman, Graeme King, and has become a staple amongst USA schools and universities. The long waterline of this easy-to-sit, yet extremely fast hull helps fight boat check and porpoising. The King SE’s high rocker with responsive rudder makes this boat extremely easy to manoeuvre.
Our King SE construction goes above and beyond many elite level brands when it comes to its construction materials. Through utilising only the highest grade of unidirectional prepreg high modulus carbon fibre, the boat boasts unmatched durability, impact resistance, and torsional and longitudinal stiffness for ultimate performance.
Carbon fibre rigger bow or stern mounted rigger upgrades are available upon request.
KING / RACING BOATS

The King boat is crafted for competitive New Zealand clubs and schools. This record-breaking King hull designed by ex-Harvard boatman, Graeme King, has become a staple amongst USA schools and universities and shares the same hull shape as our elite racing model, the King SE. The long waterline of this easy-to-sit, yet extremely fast hull helps fight boat check and porpoising. The high rocker with responsive [HG1] rudder makes this boat extremely easy to manoeuvre. Our King utilises a stiff yet durable full carbon construction which means it offers the same (or better) material and construction methodology choice as other elite level boat builders, but at a more affordable price point.
